Ontario Walleye Fishing

We are located on Wangoon Lake, which has good Walleye fishing. The main lake has great structure for fishing with 7 islands, lots of rocky points and shoals, which are prime areas for Walleye. There are also other lakes in the area, which you can drive-to that offer good Walleye fishing. We can supply you with directions and maps of these lakes to maximize your success.

The average size Walleye in our lake is 1.5 to 2 pounds. There are quite a few larger Walleye in the 5 to 10-pound range, which are caught and released throughout the summer. Our lake has various depths reaching all the way down to 50 feet in some places. Generally, you need some deeper water in a lake to produce the big 10-pound trophies.

Our guests have the best luck using jigs, worm harnesses, small jerk baits, minnows and night crawlers
